A few weeks ago, I signed up for a photo shooting trip with Marty Knapp at Point Reyes. Marty is a renowned landscape photographer who lives there. He is inspired by Ansel Adams and it clearly shows in his photos: sharply focused, great depth of field, with huge tonal ranges. You can take a look at his web site at http://www.martyknapp.com. He was also extremely friendly and gave me a tour to his darkroom.
Here're two best photos I took.
I really like the second one. It gives a sense of the vast expansiveness of the West Coast landscape. The clouds provide a nice contrast and depth.
